Joignez-nous pour une soirée de musique et de culture francophone au Ship Pub le 22 juin à 21h. ⚜ L'événement sera animé par Île-Icitte, un tout nouveau groupe composé de Frédéric Blouin au chant, Michael O'Keefe-Daw à la batterie, ainsi que Jenna Maloney et Axel Belgarde (de Port-Aux-Poutines) à la guitare, à la basse et au violon. Les artistes invités incluent Adrian House, Cat Bowring, Colleen Power, Cove Pond (Laura Penney et Scott Yetman), Liz Fagan Band, Maude Blanchet, Ocean Bound (Julien Bouchard et Kristen Elizabeth) et plus encore. Ce sera une belle soirée de musique, de boisson et de célébration de la francophonie à Terre-Neuve et au Canada. Nous avons hâte de faire la fête avec vous tous! 🎶 20$ à la porte.

(Français qui suit) Come and join Adrian House and his fabulous House Band to celebrate the release of Pêcheur de rêves, his first album 100% in French! Several years in the making, the album was supported by generous grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and Music NL.

Since his semi-final appearance at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby in 2021, House has been steadily developing his original material in French. The result is Pêcheur de rêves, a rich tapestry of French Chanson combining elements of jazz, folk, rock and trad, into something unique and spectacular.

Joining Adrian on stage will be an all-star band of Darren 'Boobie' Browne, Ryan Kennedy, Frank Fusari, Michael O'Keefe-Daw, Colleen Power, Carole Bestvater, Greg Bruce, Amy Colyer-Holmes, and Terry Campbell.

Opening set by 2023 Music NL Francophone Artists of the Year Port-Aux-Poutines.

This event is open to all ages. Accessibility: one step at the door. Washrooms located down one flight of stairs. There will be some complementary snacks on offer. Contact the organizer to request a refund if more than 24 hr before showtime.

Venez rejoindre Adrian House et son fabuleux House Band pour célébrer la sortie de Pêcheur de rêves, son premier album 100% en français ! Cet album est le fruit de plusieurs années de travail et a été soutenu par de généreuses subventions du Conseil des arts du Canada et de Music NL.

Depuis sa demi-finale au Festival international de la chanson de Granby en 2021, House n’a cessé de développer son matériel original en français. Le résultat est Pêcheur de rêves, un oeuvre qui unit des éléments de jazz, folk, rock, et trad, en quelque chose d'originale et spectaculaire.

Adrian sera accompagné d'un groupe all-star composé de Darren «Boobie» Browne, Ryan Kennedy, Frank Fusari, Michael O'Keefe-Daw, Colleen Power, Carole Bestvater, Greg Bruce, Amy Colyer-Holmes, et Terry Campbell.

De plus, l'artiste francophile racontera des récits et des anecdotes sur comment les terre-neuviens fêtent noël avec au menu également des bouchées et des collations.
